Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OFFICE-3843) [text] additional text-properties for extra border attributes

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-3843?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=78960#comment-78960 ]

Regina Henschel commented on OFFICE-3843:
-----------------------------------------

I have tried to integrate the points or the previous discussions. But there are still some open points.

(C) in the draft: Michael, does the wording catch your comment of 2021-03-08?

(A), (A1), (A2), (A3) in the draft: I want that shadow is not considered for layout of a box shadow on a text range, same as it is down in CSS. But that means, that something is needed to meet the way OOXML defines it and the way it is currently implemented in LO. These paragraphs contain some alternative proposals.

(B), (B1), (B2) in the draft: In CSS margin-top and margin-bottom are explicitly excluded from evaluating for inline boxes. So we need to specify, that they are considered in ODF. These paragraphs contain alternative proposals.

In 20.183.1 General: If have added a Note about the structure of the border string. In the long run, I would like to expand the list of keywords, so that all line borders of OOXML are covered too. That would require to not use XSL/CSS for the string structure but provide an own definition.

20.zzz.1 General contains a proposal for a better wording. The current wording is
"The style:border-line-width attribute specifies the widths of borders defined by the FO border properties (see 20.183) for borders where the value of these properties is double."
And I have merged 20.248 to 20.252 into one section. That would then be consistent with the other properties with -bottom, -left, -right, -top.

Line 29 page 7: The attribute style:shadow is allowed in <style:graphic-properties> element. But that element allows draw:shadow-color, draw:shadow-offset-x and draw:shadow-offset-y too. The paragraph contains a proposal for a precedence rule.
