The expected behaviour needs to be described in the Standard, especially if the expectation is not to use the colour that the user sees (which may be determined by the data style). How would implementers otherwise understand this in a consistent manner?

I note that Excel and Calc may not be consider data-styles for this currently but Google Sheets does. From a spreadsheet point of view data-styles and conditional styles are the items were filtering by colour may make sense.Â

It does not seem to make sense to me that if a user selects all red text, only certain red text is selected that happens to be formatted in a fixed red or via a conditional style but those that are red via a data-style are not. A user will definitely think that is odd.
