Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OFFICE-4116) 19.162 draw:extrusion-rotation-center misses unit for Z component and meaning of 0.
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4116?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ] Regina Henschel updated OFFICE-4116: ------------------------------------ Proposal: Exchange the old text: The {{draw:extrusion-rotation-center}} attribute specifies the position of a rotation center in shape-size fractions. If the {{draw:extrusion-rotation-center}} attribute is omitted, the geometric center of the shape is used as the rotation center. with the new text: The {{draw:extrusion-rotation-center}} attribute specifies the position of a rotation center. The attribute value has data type {{vector3D}}. X- and Y-component of the vector are in shape-size fractions, Z-component is in 10 micrometer units. The vector {{(0 0 0)}} addresses the geometric center of the shape. The default value for this attribute is {{(0 0 0)}}. was: Proposal: The Z-component of the vector is interpreted as absolute value in 1/100th mm. The geometric center of the shape is described by vector (0, 0, 0). Reasoning: Taking the center of the shape as X=0 and Y=0 is already done in draw:extrusion-origin. The unit 1/100th mm is already used for logwidth and logheight in draw:formula in the draw:enhanced-geometry. I have reworded the proposal according to TC at 22. Nov. 2021. > 19.162 draw:extrusion-rotation-center misses unit for Z component and meaning of 0. > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-4116 > URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4116 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Regina Henschel > Priority: Major > > The data type is vector3d. > The description is, "The draw:extrusion-rotation-center attribute specifies the position of a rotation center in shape-size fractions. If the draw:extrusion-rotation-center attribute is omitted, the geometric center of the shape is used as the rotation center." > Problem A: Shape size specifies only width (for X-component) and height (for Y-component). Width and height are meaningless for the Z-component. RichTextFormat and binary MS Office use Z-component as absolute value in EMU (36000EMU=1Millimeter). VML has the same problem in the description as ODF. Current AOO/LO implementations use 1/100 Millimeter. > Problem B: The description "fraction" does not include, which position is considered as 0. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.3#803004)
