Broader question before we discuss assignments:

Possible answer for defaults on particular attributes: Doesn't matter, but we need feedback to know that.

Chat log of conversation between Frances, Regina, and myself on default values:

By namespace (suggested respondents):

Question not addressed in chat: Known defaults in MS Word for equivalent attributes?

5. Issues open for ODF 1.4:

6. Adjournment.

*Patrick:* Agenda - approved by consent

*Patrick:* Minutes of Jan. 10th - approved by consent

*Patrick:* Default values - attributes

*Patrick:* Francis - have to look at it case by case - in some cases may not be meaningful to have a default - look at them by namespaces - in some cases where no default values are meaningful - but in others there needs to be one. no general rule

*Patrick:* Ask about the assignments -

*Patrick:* Regina - has contacted others on the db: namespaces -

*anonymous morphed into Svante*

*Patrick:* Regina - ask Thorsten for developers to look at it - (Patrick)

*Patrick:* Ask Thorsten on the db: namespace

*Patrick:* Do the same for form:

*Patrick:* https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4109

*Patrick:* Andreas - will look at number - office

*Patrick:* Andreas - table as it makes sense in a context of a spreadsheet - if don't make sense in a spreadsheet - need someone else to look at them

*Patrick:* Michael - will look at text, style, xlink -

*Patrick:* Francis - in some of those cases, may well be implementation defined

*Patrick:* Francis - leader type for example

*Patrick:* Francis - how to move forward?

*Patrick:* Regina - draw for example - do we need issue for it or not, but after discussion - suggest individual issues

*Patrick:* Regina - has put comments in the spreadsheet - others can put comments there as well - attach to email and then discuss it

*Francis Cave:* https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ERQJPWjuCk49Qssw8uwbHKhe3zSOmDZWUC730GwHqs4/edit#gid=0

*Francis Cave:* https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ERQJPWjuCk49Qssw8uwbHKhe3zSOmDZWUC730GwHqs4/edit?usp=sharing

*Patrick:* Francis - will fix the spreadsheet so everyone can add comments to it.

*Regina Henschel:* Enter me with rb.henschel@t-online.de

*Andreas:* aguelzow@pyrshep.ca or andreas.guelzow@concordia.ab.ca

*Patrick:* Question - of default in MS Word - should be documented in the ISO spec.

*Patrick:* https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4047

*Patrick:* style:wrap

The defined values for the style:wrap attribute are:

biggest: text may wrap around the shape where the difference to the left or right page or column border is largest.

dynamic: text may wrap around both sides of the shape. The space for wrapping is set by the style:wrap-dynamic-threshold 20.403 attribute.

left: text wraps around the left side of the shape.

none: text does not wrap around the shape.

parallel: text wraps around both sides of the shape.

right: text wraps around the right side of the shape.

run-through: text runs through the shape.

*Svante:* https://docs.oasis-open.org/office/OpenDocument/v1.3/os/part3-schema/OpenDocument-v1.3-os-part3-schema.html#property-style_wrap

*Patrick:* Regina - problem is when the objects have different settings

*Patrick:* Regina - overlap true and the other says overlap false

*Patrick:* Regina - needs to be implementation dependent

*Patrick:* Regina - the object that sets the attribute to false - the implementation should implement it so it doesn't overlap

*Patrick:* Michael - overlap is a conjunction of all the flags on shapes

*Patrick:* Regina - can overlap with false overlap with an object with run-through?

*Svante:* The draw:allow-overlap attribute specifies placement options for two or more frames or graphic objects with style:wrap properties set to values other than run-through

*Patrick:* Svante - notice values other than run-through

*Patrick:* Michael - default should be to allow overlap

*Patrick:* The way overlap is avoided is implementation dependent needs to be added - Regian

*Patrick:* Regian - > Regina

*Regina Henschel:* If this attribute is set to false, then that means the graphic cannot overlap with an other graphic and it shall be repositioned when displayed to prevent this overlap. The way to prevent overlap is implementation-dependent.

*Patrick:* Regina's sentence needs to be added. -

*Patrick:* Francis = The displayed results is implementation dependent.

*Patrick:* work on the language

*Patrick:* Adjourned
