How can we move forward with OFFICE-3750?

Hi members,

this refers to issue https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-3750:
spec and implementation not aligned for angle format in draw:transform, 
skewX/skewY

The applications I know of that support the ODF file format use the 
angles in the draw:transform attribute in radians. How can we determine 
if there are applications that actually use degrees?

There is our mailing list "opendocument-users" which may help. We could 
post a poll there. How many people are subscribed to the list? We could 
additionally post on the "office-comment" mailing list.

We could use the list of applications in Wikipedia and try to reach the 
developers of those applications.

Or we change the specification from degree to radian and try to 
compromise only when developers complain. There is enough time before 
the final release of a new version of the standard to respond to complaints.

What do you think?

It is a general problem, not only with OFFICE-3750. That's why I'm 
writing to the list rather than as a comment on the issue.
