Subject: Fwd: Tariff for Foundation services
Excellent! Many thanks.
Have a great weekend.
Geoff
Chet/Scott: Can we clarify this area? Iâm writing up a document on âhow the Foundation will workâ, and I need to fill in two sections:
- What is the list of services that OASIS will be providing as part of the basic âOASIS Open Development Foundation Projectâ?
- What additional services are available, and (where it makes sense) what is the rough cost?
Â
Obviously some services, such as support for conferences or other events, canât be easily priced â there are too many options. But for others, we need to understand the default model. For example, providing a Foundation website involves hosting and content development. Is website hosting provided, or an extra cost option? Are content development services available, or should we make separate arrangements? Similar questions arise about software development and project management tools and communications.
Â
Thanks,
Â
Geoff

Hi Geoff - I have copied Scott. He's much better for rough costs than I am.Â
Â
Scott, please see Geoff's question below.

Can you identify the optional service items and the rough cost associated with each. (Budgetary only, not firm quote.) In particular Iâm concerned about the Foundation website: hosting and content development.

Need this to plug into the financials discussion with Scott at 11:30am PT.

Thanks,
