Subject: RE: [openc2] Re: [EXT] RE: [openc2] Meeting Times
If it simplifies the prioritization and makes sense to you to have a meeting at the standard time of 13:00, then by all means do so! In fact I will even go so far as to say let's make 13:00 meeting times a conventional practice, but I do NOT see the value in constraining the SC chairs, tiger team leads etc. with some immutable 'rule'. If someone wants to set up a 14:00 will we require a ballot or formal vote to suspend the rule? I would assume that is not anyone's intent. -----Original Message----- From: Dave Lemire [mailto:dave.lemire@g2-inc.com] Sent: Monday, July 10, 2017 10:53 AM To: Bret Jordan <Bret_Jordan@symantec.com> Cc: Brule, Joseph M <jmbrule@radium.ncsc.mil>; jg <jg@ctin.us>; ikirillov@mitre.org; openc2@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: Re: [openc2] Re: [EXT] RE: [openc2] Meeting Times I'm in complete agreement that a standard meeting time makes sense. Give the tempo and amount of work we need to do, it would be good to try and have as many people engaged as possible. The best way to do that is to have predictable times that people can mark off on their calendars. There is no guarantee that they will be able to attend all of the meetings, but at least they do not need to play wack-a-mole with trying to figure out when a meeting is going to take place. This will make it easier for participants to have predictability in the schedule and will prevent conflicts when SC and working groups pick ad-hoc times. Bret
