General Announcements

Ballot

A ballot has been opened to approved WD01 of the OpenC2 Over HTTPS Transfer Specification as CSD01; the ballot closes Thursday, 23 August. TC members are encouraged to review the draft document and vote on the ballot.

Face-to-Face (F2F) Meetings
  • October 1-2, 2018 will be held in conjunction with Borderless Cyber at Georgetown University.ÂÂ
    • David Darnell and Michael Stair will lead the planning for this event.
    • Attendance at Borderless Cyber is free for OASIS membersÂ

  • January 10-11, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ; hosted by NAESB / Systrends.


TC Public Sites "Face Lift"


The TC co-chairs are seeking the assistance of all TC members to give our public presence a face lift prior to the upcoming submission of CS candidate to OASIS. Any assistance is welcome, including review & comment on our TC page at OASIS, suggestions for improving the organization of the Google Drive, etc. Public code repo maintainers are requested to work on updating their code to align with the current version of the Language Specification.




TC Work in Progress


The following documents are in progress and several are approaching maturity to be submitted as Committee Specification (CS) candidates.ÂÂThe co-chairs are targeting 18 September to have complete v1.0 documents for CS submission.Â


The TC and SC co-chairs encourage all TC members to read, consider, and comment as these documents are being completed, as well as helping to resolve open issues. Co-editors are also desired for the actuator profiles and HTTPS transfer specification.



Front Matter "Boilerplate" for OpenC2 Documentation Suite. A Word document containing proposals for introductory language to be re-used across the OpenC2 documentation suite is on the Google Drive in the ~playground folder. The co-chairs would appreciate membership feedback on the proposed language.

Language Specification:ÂÂwd08 is the current working version.

A separate document has been created with draft text for some remaining sections of the Language Spec. The document is open for comment now and will be integrated into the Language Spec WD08 after the ballot closes.Â

Stateless Packet Filter AP:ÂÂÂWD03-wip is the current working version.


OpenC2 over HTTPS Transfer SpecificationÂ(wd01):ÂÂÂWD01 is up for CSD ballot, as described above. WD02-wip is the current working version.


Software Defined Network Controller APÂ(wd01):Â wd01 is the current working version.

Coming This Week:

Language Subcommittee (L-SC) meetingÂwill occur onÂTuesday August 21st at 1:00 pmÂEastern. The L-SC will continue to resolve issues needed to complete the v1.0 Language Specification.Â

Actuator Profile Subcommittee (AP-SC) meetingÂwill be held on Wednesday, August 22nd, at 1:00pm Eastern.ÂÂ
The AP-SC will continue to resolve issues needed to complete the v1.0 SLPF AP.



Lucid Meeting Invitations:Â SC and TC members should receive email notifications for their respective meetings directly from Lucid Meetings. If you are not receiving invitations via Lucid Emails, please notify Joe Brule or David Lemire ASAP and we will ensure that you are added.
