TC Member,
Since vacation season is upon us, a quick reminder about how Leave of Absence requests work seems appropriate. There are two key points:
1) A Leave of Absence must be requested at least 7 days in advance, and cannot exceed 45 days in duration.Â
2)ÂDuring a Leave of Absence, a Voting Member shall not have voting rights or participation obligations in the TC or its Subcommittees. The OASIS TC Admin folks restate this as "you can show up but you can't be listed as having attended, you can't vote, and you can't participate."
The reference for this is Section 1.6 of the OASIS TC Procedures.
So please plan accordingly if you need a Leave of Absence.
