Go with adapter and stick a fork in it.

ââAdapterââ fits fine with the purpose of the PoC.

Best,

Kamer.

The word "Lycan" is derived from the word
    "lycanthrope," meaning someone who suffers
from lycanthropy; "the professed ability or
power of a human being to transform into a
wolf, or to gain wolf-like characteristics."

While referencing pop culture may signal that even computer security geeks have a sense of humor, I'd prefer that future repository names more clearly indicate their purpose.

The word "proxy" has a technical meaning; the proposed repo should as well.  Because the code translates from OpenC2 to native Cisco IOS, I'd suggest something like:

openc2-iosacl-translator
openc2-iosacl-adapter
openc2-iosacl-shim

My personal preference is for "adapter", but any technically descriptive term would be fine.

Dave "Old Fuddy-Duddy" Kemp
