Urgent Attention needed to new version of Language Spec

Sending under my own title because the original subject was not interesting enough.

For a couple months, we have been discussing that there is one inconsistent, if not actually wrong, description in the Language Spec. To this end, we are publishing an Errata.

An Errata does not change the version, or the compatibility. An Errata should not create backward compatibility issues. It is simply cleaning something up. When done, it will appear as Committee Spec 02 of the Language Spec 1.0. Even so, we would like to get it out soon.

Earlier today, you received an email:

This package has the markdown (MD) file inside, as well as a PDF showing changes, so you can find them quickly. It also has a PDF with line numbers included so you can comment tersely about line 78.

We do not intend to review any other part of this document at this time. If, however, you have long known of a serious error or muddle in the language spec, we would prefer to know of it before this goes out for public review.

The process for publishing an Errata is much like that of publishing a spec:
- First a Working Draft (here)
- Voted by the TC to be a Committee Specification Draft (CSD) and the send that CSD out for Public Review.
- Followed by a Public Review
- Followed by a TC Vote (if no comments) to accept the CSD as a new version of the Committee Spec (CS).

Errata are meant to be technical corrections only, that should not change the interpretation of the specification. If you feel the changes are not errata, that is an important review comment.

Please review by Tuesday of next week(11/5) so we can begin the rest of the process. If there are no objections, the Chairs would like to request that the TC Admins begin an on-line vote at that time. If all goes well, we may be able to pass it by vote at the next monthly TC meeting.
