this post from Michael Herring on LinkedIn today, and given the relationship of OpenC2 to IACD it seemed worth sharing:
Today marks the official “programmatic” sunset of Integrated Adaptive Cyber Defense (IACD), the interagency initiative to advance
the state-of-the-art for Cybersecurity Automation, jointly sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security and the National security Agency, and executed by the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
As a community, we have achieved every goal set for IACD. While there may still be much more to accomplish, it’s now time for the government to step aside so that the full creativity and energy of the private sector can continue
to accelerate this industry’s efforts toward new sets of accomplishments.
To commemorate the completion of the IACD program, we prepared the attached graphic that depicts all of the development spirals, events, and phases of the initiative. We extend our sincere thanks to all of our partners throughout
the community who made our success possible.

as well as the IACD YouTube channel remain available for your use as a portal to all the white papers, research papers, and videos produced throughout the initiative. Thanks again, we can’t wait to see what you all do in this space next.
