Subject: Source file header contents

The SDO TC is working on updating the
source files for the SDO APIs. As part of this is getting the contents
of the initial block comments correct. Clearly the proper OASIS copyright
is needed, but there has been some discussion about version/date information.
The prior SDO files have contained version content. Looking
at the current SCA-J files in SVN, there is no version or date information.
The C/C++ header files contain version and date information.
Do we want to be consistent? If
so, what content do we want to include?
My view is that inclusion of version
and date information ties source files to particular specification draft,
which is desirable.
Comments?
