Hi Simon,
Wondering if you had a chance to process my below email.
Best wishes,

Hi Simon,
I have not copied all the TC lists on this thread to avoid
the potential email clutter. Instead, I have typically been using the LSC list
to gather statuses, since I think one or more chairs of each TC are included on
the LSC list.
Thanks for your below report. Could you please also comment on
the following questions for each of the deliverable specs by the Bindings TC:
> - What is the status of testing (Test Assertions complete, Test
Case
> complete, In PR, etc)?
> - What is the estimated timeline of completing the testing work?
> - How many compliant implementations do you expect to become available
> before finalization of the specification? Which ones are they?
Thanks,
Sanjay

Subject: Fw: [opencsa-liaison] Status Update -- SCA BPEL TC
Sanjay,
I didn't see
this email copied to the sca-bindings list, was that deliberate? If not,
here's the SCA Bindings status:
Web Services
Binding Spec: No outstanding issues, no changes required, PR complete,
ready to go to Committee Spec
Web Services
Binding Tests: No outstanding issues, no changes required, PR complete,
ready to go to Committee Spec
JMS Binding
Spec: One revision since PR, need to check if another PR is necessary,
otherwise need CD vote then ready to go to Committee Spec
JMS Binding
Tests: Under review by TC, expect CD vote within next two weeks; would
then need 30 day PR, so estimated ready for CS Dec 2nd.
JCA Binding
Spec: No outstanding issues, no changes required, PR complete, ready to
go to Committee Spec
JCA Binding
Test: No progress due to lack of JCA binding implementation to test
against. Estimate 4 months to develop/review/PR so no earlier than Feb
2011.
HTTP Binding
Spec: Working draft, under discussion by TC, no current outlook for CD/PR.
HTTP Binding
Test: No progress.
Depending on
the expected dates for CS from other TCs I would definitely expect Web Service
binding to be included in 1.1, possibly JMS as well, and not JCA or HTTP.
Regards, Simon

Re: [opencsa-liaison] Status Update -- SCA BPEL TC
Here is the SCA BPEL status
Spec: 3 issues outstanding, 4 issues resolved since last PR. New 15 days
PR needed after all issues are resolved. Expected date for issue
resolutions: 10/28/2010
TA: complete, will need updates based on spec issue resolutions. Needs a
60 day PR.
Test cases: 50% done. Expected completion: 11/30/2010. Needs 60 day PR.
Implementation: Tuscany is only partially complaint. Unclear what the
other required implementation would be.
Part of 1st batch of 1.1 specs: yes
Blocking issues: completion of test cases, updates required to Tuscany
to run some of the test cases, finding two compliant implementations.
