Service Component Architecture (SCA) Plenary Week

In the week of Septmber 17th, The OASIS
Open CSA Member Section are pleased to be able to host an "Service
Component Architecture (SCA) Plenary Week" at SAP's Palo Alto Facility.
The Objective of the Plenary Week is threefold:

1) Provide a Seminar aimed at new and
prospective members of the SCA Technical Committees (TCs) so summarize
the current input documents to the TCs, as provided by the OSOA Collaboration,
the authors of the SCA V1.0 open industry specifications.

2) At the same time, open the same seminar
to all members of the public to provide introductory educational information
on the SCA Technology.

3) Subsequent to the seminar, hold a
face to face meeting for each of the six TCs, for more detailed TC work
activity planning. These meetings are only open to TC members.

The Seminar will take place as a full
day event on Tuesday September 18th.
The six TC's will each meet for a target
of half a day each on Wednesday/Thursday September 19/20th.

A more detailed agenda for the Seminar
is being put together by Mike Edwards of IBM. The TC (co-)chairs (to be
apponted in the inaugural calls on September 5/6/7th) will drive the agenda
for each of their respective TC meetings.
