Subject: Re: [xml-dev] OpenDocument conformity - identifying a paragraph -alien attributes
Hi, OpenOffice would not be able to preserve xml:id attributes. And you are right in saying that alien attributes in styles don't work well for uiquely identifying paragraphs. What you should use are bookmarks at the start of the paragraph that you wish to identify: (page 89 in the spec) <text:p> <text:bookmark text:name="Mark 1"/>There is a text mark in front of this... In Openoffice you can do this via Insert/Bookmark... -Lars Bruce D'Arcus wrote: > Dominique wrote: > >> Alternatively, one could use some kind of alien attributes as >> described in the FAQ > > > Perhaps xml:id would be appropriate here? > > Bruce > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscribe@xml.openoffice.org > For additional commands, e-mail: dev-help@xml.openoffice.org > -- Lars Oppermann <lars.oppermann@sun.com> Sun Microsystems Inc.
