+ John Arwe (IBM)

Approval of July 10 Minutes

[07:08] Bill Chown (Mentor Graphics): Approval of July 10 minutes requested. Arnaud proposed - no objections.

Next meeting

[07:09] Bill Chown (Mentor Graphics): next call Aug 7th; Steve on vacation, but no other known regrets.

Resource Shapes

[07:16] Steve Speicher (IBM): Mailing list: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rdf-shapes/

[07:16] John Arwe (IBM): @Ian: responded on-list to your Actions feedback; needs further action (heh) from you to progress

[07:17] Bill Chown (Mentor Graphics): Arnaud reported on workshop with w3 re shapes discussion, but chartering a working group has some challenges so far.

[07:17] Steve Speicher (IBM): RDF Validation Workshop: http://www.w3.org/2012/12/rdf-val/

[07:23] Bill Chown (Mentor Graphics): Arnaud asks whether OSLC should stay with current spec (through open-services.net) meanwhile, or push for / wait for w3c standard.

[07:25] Bill Chown (Mentor Graphics): any participant with strong needs/opinions about the direction of resource shapes should look at the points of view and consider how this impacts their use cases to help understand the position.

Namespaces for OSLC-affiliated TCs

[07:31] Steve Speicher (IBM): https://wiki.oasis-open.org/oslc-core/VocabStableURINotes

[07:34] Bill Chown (Mentor Graphics): discussion centered around namespace names changing to oasis naming would impact implementations in numerous tools - beyond current resource levels to execute, even if practical.

Improvements to specifications

[07:39] Steve Speicher (IBM): At the bottom of this page is some discussion of "Spec Structure" https://wiki.oasis-open.org/oslc-core/SpecRoadmap

[07:39] Steve Speicher (IBM): Thinking we should collect the feedback on a wiki page to help motivate future spec structure

Status update

[07:42] Nick Crossley (IBM): I still need to review the Actions spec

Adjourned

[07:48] Bill Chown (Mentor Graphics): close meeting at 749am
