Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OSLCCORE-57) ReSpec cannot process a shape file that references foaf:Person
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCORE-57?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=61467#comment-61467 ] Martin Pain commented on OSLCCORE-57: ------------------------------------- Given my comment about "<> oslc:describes foaf:Person" on OSLCCORE-55 (should we really be defining shapes for all resources that use a type form a namespace that is not ours), would it be more correct to have an oslc:Property of oslc:propertyDefinition rdf:type, which states that the expected value is foaf:Person? If this shape really is a subset of what FOAF defines for foaf:Person, then maybe oslc:describes is the way to go. But I'm uneasy about it. > ReSpec cannot process a shape file that references foaf:Person > -------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OSLCCORE-57 > URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCORE-57 > Project: OASIS OSLC Lifecycle Integration Core (OSLC Core) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: James Amsden > Assignee: James Amsden > > core-vocab.html uses shapeToSpec to generate the HTML tables from the CommonProperties-shape.ttl file. The namespace for FOAF is: > @prefix foaf: <http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/> . > But that is not a URI that supports an RDF representation of FOAF. In ResouceShape <#Person>, setting oslc:describes to foaf:Person causes ReSpec to fail. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2.2#6258)
