[07:05] Martin Sarabura (PTC): https://wiki.oasis-open.org/oslc-core/Meetings/Telecon2017.10.19
[07:06] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Minutes accepted
[07:07] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Martin to fix some references and introductory paragraphs for TRS and CCM - still on list
[07:07] Martin Sarabura (PTC): David to schedule a subcommittee meeting for OSLC query after TC members have had a chance to review the draft specification.
[07:09] Martin Sarabura (PTC): All committee members encouraged to read spec
[07:09] Martin Sarabura (PTC): subcommittee meeting, that is
[07:09] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick to set up a CCM subcommittee meeting to discuss skew resolution
[07:10] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Also, Nick to set up subcommittee meeting for TRS spec
[07:10] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick working on TRS spec
[07:10] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Finished, committee encouraged to read
[07:10] Martin Sarabura (PTC): TRS spec
[07:11] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nov 9, subcommittee meeting on either of those two issues but not both
[07:11] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Jim would like to try for subcommittee meeting for TRS spec some time next week
[07:11] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick to set up 11am Nov 9
[07:12] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick not available for Nov 16 meetings
[07:14] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick will set up doodle poll for some time other than Nov 9 11am
[07:14] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Subcommittee meetings will be 60min. Lots to discuss
[07:16] Martin Sarabura (PTC): David: 3rd party integrations using OSLC query?
[07:16] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Please tell David if you know of any
[07:18] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick would like to review some of what he has done with TRS when Jim comes back in - line was noisy
[07:19] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick: Several problems with spec
[07:20] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Editorial comments by original author mostly inherited from ILDP part of the spec
[07:20] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Fair amount of repetition, eg., TRS has base and a change log
[07:21] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Hasn't managed to eliminate all of it, but much pruning has occurred so far already
[07:21] Martin Sarabura (PTC): There are some complete missing sections - some described by explicit TBDs in spec
[07:21] Martin Sarabura (PTC): No expository material around access control, just shapes
[07:21] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Also TRS Patch (nothing at all) and base paging (nothing at all)
[07:23] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Intent is to put back into spec, readers should see if he has pruned out too much otherwise
[07:24] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick will be working over next few days over known gaps
[07:25] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Jim: Fine for spec to be a spec not an explanatory spec as long as we include enough info about why we would want to use it
[07:26] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick: We could use extra non-normative specs.
[07:27] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick has set aside text he has purged from original, intends to create committee draft note which contains client-side guidance
[07:28] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Jim: Cost of adding another document, even if non-normative, is pretty high which tends to discourage creation of new documents
[07:29] Martin Sarabura (PTC): David: One topic which we should discuss is transactional behaviors
[07:30] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Jim: Kept out intentionally
[07:30] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Nick: Some language added to spec - server MUST publish change to resources
[07:31] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Know that multiple changes might be elided if notification frequence lower than change frequency
[07:31] Martin Sarabura (PTC): Out of time, meeting adjourned
