> OSLC is intended to be extensible in whatever way the server wishes to, however there are some data models with which we have experience and that we can discuss at the level of best practices and recommendations. First-time adopters may wish to follow these patterns in order to ensure that they will be most easily consumed by clients. Specifically, these would include how to represent groups, hierarchies and ordered lists. In each case there are a couple of variations that we could discuss in terms of the merits and complications. For example, a scatter-gather method for collecting all references to a specific URI may involve constructing a query so the question is, how do you guide the client to construct an appropriate query.
