Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OSLCCORE-123) Query spec does not describe what properties are returned if oslc.select is not specified

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCORE-123?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=68507#comment-68507 ]

James Amsden commented on OSLCCORE-123:
---------------------------------------

If oslc.select returns all visible properties, then wouldn't that be equivalent to oslc.select=*?

Seems like returning no additional properties would be most appropriate, that way the query result would only contain member URIs.

> The spec does not define what properties, if any, of the member resources are returned when oslc.select is not specified. I have seen some implementations return no properties, some return all properties, and some return some [unspecified] subset of properties.
