Subject: Re: [oslc-core] where to find public versions of the Core 3.0 specs

Hi Jad - I wish it were just your experience. Sadly though, I'm afraid that Google searches really do not result in people finding the most up to date versions of our specs.Â

Problem is, I don't know what we could do to fix that. If anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears.Â

Thanks Andrii & jim

Iâll try to remember the links.

I guess my concern is that people simply doing a google search will not be easily finding the specs. But it could be just me.

I think there should be two set of such links: one set of links to the latest approved draft onÂhttps://open-services.net/specifications/Âand another set on the repo wiki (should have been in the README but it's full of legalese):Âhttps://github.com/oasis-tcs/oslc-core/wiki/!TC-work

Â

Jad, could you please check if those links get you to the right documents? Any other suggestions?

Hi,

Â

I continuously struggle to find proper links to our specs. This applies to Domains, but also Core specs.

Â

I am doing a simple google search with âoslc queryâ.

Â

The first hits still refer to IBM/Jazz and open-services.net.

5th in the list I have a link to oasis svn repo https://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/browse/wsvn/oslc-core/trunk/specs/oslc-query.html

In that document, when I click on This/Latest version, I end up on âNot Foundâ pages.

Â

I honestly donât know where to find our specs - besides logging in into OASIS, etc.

Â

regards
