I think that's exactly
what we should do; it is what we did with the Change Management and Configuration
Management specs when we moved them from the CCM TC to the Core TC - see
https://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/browse/wsvn/oslc-ccm/trunk/specs/config-mgt/oslc-config-mgt.html,
and all similar files.
A README file
won't be noticed by someone with a direct link to the spec in the repo.

Unless someone wants to go and edit every
spec.

Github will redirect the core links automatically.
We can edit the domains specs with such links. But I would suggest a simple
README warning that the work has moved.

Andrew,
I believe we had agreed to do one last commit to any spec that was moving
- to add a pointer to the new location, so people with links to the previous
github repo would not get lost. If we did not also do the same for the
last SVN location, we should do so retroactively - and that applies to
Core as well as Domains.

OSLC repos are ready to be migrated
Sent by: <oslc-core@lists.oasis-open.org>
Hello
everyone,
Me
and Jim just finished reorganising the repo. Please see https://github.com/oasis-tcs/oslc-corefor
the final result. I have also updated all the spec
links on
the OSLC website and fixed
the NS redirects.
Do
not commit anything to âoslc-domainsâ from now on; it will be permanently
archived. On the other hand, do not hesitate to make commits to âoslc-coreâ;
you do not need to wait until the OP migration is finished.
In
particular:
- Jim, could
you please start
migrating the wikifrom
âoslc-domainsâ to âoslc-coreâ, please?
- Nick, could
you please help us with the TRS
ReSpec error?
- David, Nick,could
you check the links on the OSLC
Specs page,
please?
- David, Ian, Nick,please
accept the OSLC org invitations to get push rights.
