Discussions

  • Conformance clause
    • We discussed the content of conformance clause using the conformance clauses of Core, QM and CM as reference. Each item in the conformance clause of the referenced specifications was examined for the need in PROMCODE and for validating if it is implemented by the existing PROMCODE implementations. Items discussed and concluded are as follows.
      • Partial resource representation, resource paging, delegated UI dialogue, UI preview, Authentication, Error responses, Turtle and JSON-LD representations, and other representations. We looked at these and concluded that PROMCODE does not need to place additional requirements to the ones defined by Core, and that the items of conformance clause similar to those of QM can be used for PROMCODE also. This requires the creation of a section for each item with a simple explanation in the PROMCODE specification.
      • We discussed a requirement on Query and concluded that the 'SHOULD' is appropriate for the requirement for PROMCODE since query is frequently used in real situations in project management.
      • A requirement on LDPC. The current spec requires that a container in PROMCODE MUST be a basic container. Since there is no compeling reason for that, it was decided to change that to requiring a container to be just a LDP container.
      • Creation of resources has a unique requirement in PROMCODE as described in the current specification draft. Namely, creating resources may be done outside the PROMCODE framework by using non PROMOCE tools, and accessing such resources is performed within the PROMCODE framework. To accomodate that, we use 'MAY' for the operation of creation of resources with HTTP POST.

Actions

  • Kamimura will create a draft of the conformance clause by the next TC call.
  • Andrew responded to Wakao-san regarding the work needed for publishing vocabulary and shape files. Wakao-san will look at it to figure out our actions.
