Discussions

1. Update - next steps

Kamimura shared information of next steps. Information needed for actions and status update can be accessed from public and private TC pages. Also, mailing lists (TC and public comment) should be used for various actions and archiving. A summary of one page on key URL's is uploaded to https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/oslc-promcode/documents.php

2. Excel Adapter for SoU

Wakao-san and Horiuchi-san looked at the exising Excel adaptor implementation, and reported that its compilation was successful. Wakao-san said, however, that its code is not maintained now. Also, RIO used for the implementation of the adapter is not maintained either. Therefore, it is better to use Lyo toolkit to reimplement the adapter. Lyo is maintained and is powerful to generate code to run on an OSLC server. Wakao-san thinks that the approach of using Lyo seems to be a better choice. The exising adapter supports standard resources, i.e., ScopeItemWorkItem and Artificat. Therefore, main thing to look at is how other resources can be supported and how much effor will be needed for that. He and Horiuchi-san will try to make progress until the next TC call.

3. SoU and Voting for CS

Getting three SoU's is our next focus. Kamimura shared exisitng samples of SoU's from the past with Matsuoka-san, Matsumoto-san and Wakao-san. Matsuoka-san showed a draft of SoU by Fujitsu. We had discussion on specific reference to the PROMCODE specification, in particular whether it is OK to reference CSD (Committee Specification Draft) or not. It was agreed that it is better to reference CS (Committee Specification). That means that we need to request a voting to make the current CSD to CS. It was agreed to discuss and vote to request TC Administration Office to make the CSD as CS at the next TC call.

Actions

  • Wakao-san and Horiuchi-san will try to make a progress for implementating an Excel Adapter using Lyo toolkit.
