Discussions

1. Update on Errata

An Errata was published by the OASIS Admin office on June 9, 2022. The Errata document describes only the changes from the OASIS Standard document, and the Standard document is still an official standard document.

2. Andrew's resignation as a co-chair of OSLC ops committee.

Andrew helped us in getting our documents published as part of OSLC Open project. We wish him well for his next endeavor.

3. Lyo Toolkit

Wakao-san posted information to Slack on IBM's implementation of a PROMCODE server using Lyo Toolkit. Matsumoto-san tried to recreate a PROMCODE sever using the information. He is still in the middle of his work as he faced a few issues in using the Toolkit. It was agreed that Wakao-san, Horiuchi-san and Matsumoto-san to have a separate meeting to discuss more details.

4. Documenting IBM's PROMCODE server implementation

The information Wakao-san posted in Slack is not sufficient for general user who may want to implement a PROMCODE server and more general document is desired. Wakao-san agreed and will see if he and Horiuchi-san can produce such a document quickly.

5. Excel Adapter

Kamimura suggested a possibility of implementing Excel adapter using simple resources to represent information in Excel and connecting PROMCODE resources in PROMCODE server to resources in the Excel adapter using the toolchain view of Lyo Toolkit. Wakao-san argued that implementing rules among data in Excel will probably make the approach difficult. It was agreed to investigate the approach further.

Actions:

  • Wkao-san to arrange a meeting with Matsumoto-san and Horiuchi-san to help Matsumoto-san on his PROMCODE server implementation using Lyo Toolkit.
  • Wakao-san to create a table of contents for a document that describes IBM's implementation of their PROMCODE server.
  • Wakao-san and Horiuchi-san to investigate further on how an Excel adapter can be implemented.
