Congratulations on the publication of the Version 3.0 PKCS #11 OASIS Standards.
During publication, we noted some issues with the references cited in several of the documents, which the TC may wish to improve in future versions.
"Base specification":
- the three non-normative Open Mobile Alliance references ([WIM], [WPKI], and [WTLS]) are broken, The first two are never even referenced in the document, but the third is used. I found a correct link for the WTLS specification and it's likely that a similar URI pattern could apply to the other two, if they are retained:Â

"Current Mechanisms":
- for non-normative reference [RFC 4269], the URI should use an https link instead of ftp
- this has the same issues with the references to WIM, WPKI, and WTLS as were noted for "Base". Again, WIM and WPKI are not referenced in the specification (except as an item in a glossary list). The citation tag [WIM}, etc. is not cited.
"Historical Mechanisms"
-Âbad link for [TLS] - uses "ieft" instead of "ietf"
- for non-normative reference [RFC 4269], the URI should use an https link instead of ftp
- this has the same issues with the references to WIM, WPKI, and WTLS as were noted for "Base". In this case, NONE of WIM, WPKI, or WTLS are cited in the specification at all.
Personal observationÂon WAP and WTLS - these are pretty much obsolete AFAIK. The TC may wish to revisitÂthe justification for including them in "Current" mechanisms.
