Subject: CKA_SECONDARY_AUTH

Hi,

I know I’m going back in time… but does anyone remember why this was deprecated back in version 2.11?  It appears as though it was introduced in version 2.10 and then deprecated shortly after.  Was there some problems with it?  Was there a problem because it required the authentication data to be retrieved out of band?  Was it dropped in favor of CKA_ALWAYS_AUTHENTICATE or was that feature developed after/independently?

This was before my time… I was just learning what PKCS11 was back then.

Thanks

Darren
