Subject: RE: question/comment on PKCS#11 3.00 base specification working draft 06

That seems like a reasonable approach. Good catch!

Subject: [pkcs11] question/comment on PKCS#11 3.00 base specification working draft 06

Hi,

I have one more comment on the base specification.

The last paragraph of Section 2 reads “These directives are described in the remainder of Section 6”.  But Section 6 references the profiles and does not appear to cover this topic.

Looking back at older versions of the spec, this was originally section 8, and the reference was to “the remainder of Section 8” which made sense given the content of the old section 8.

Most of the “remainder of Section 8” is now embedded in the header files.  So I guess this link/reference was broken as the spec and header files evolved.  We should correct this.

Is it enough to update this reference so that it calls out the content in the header files?

Thanks

Darren
