Subject: RE: [pkcs11] Four PKCS #11 specifications from PKCS11 TC approved as Committee Specifications
All, Reviewing older versions of the PKCS#11 standard, I found that references from the Profiles document to the base specification for CKA_TOKEN / C_FindObjectsInit / C_FindObjects / C_FindObjectsFinal
were already incorrect since (at least) PKCS#11 v2.40. The wrong references have thus not been introduced recently while working on v3.0 but have been incorrect for long time already. BR Dieter From: Dieter Bong
All, I have to admit that we @ Utimaco did not double-check the profiles document against the PKCS#11 base and current mechanisms specs while doing our review
â. Consulting the Committee Specification version of the Profiles document today, I noticed a few
wrong references into the base spec, and inconsistent naming for the unique identifier (base spec: CKA_UNIQUE_ID, profiles: CKA_UNIQUE_IDENTIFIER). I have commented these issues in attached PDF, for review and discussion during our next conf call. @Tony, Can you please put this topic onto the agenda. BR Dieter From:
