Hi Folks,
Please note that there was a lot of discussion regarding the 3.2 Work Items and deferred actions from 3.1. It would be appreciated if you could quickly run through these items (Repeated here) And check that I have captured these items correctly. There was a lot of back and forth discussion on some items and while I was taking notes during the call I am not sure I captured everything correctly. Bob has also noted that he intends to go into detail for some of these items an the next meeting and so be prepared to discuss these items at the next meeting on 30-March-2022
3.2 Work Items
- Proposal #1 - Async Process for Keygen - Jonathan S believe this made it into 3.1 as a return code - to be marked complete
- Action #2 - Find an Owner for Async Proposal referenced above - Noted by Jonathan S that this could go away as well
- Action #3 - Appears to be a change in 3.1 which was a change of wording and reference to ECDH_AES Key Wrap - Noted by Hamish C - To be marked as unknown and if no interest in a couple of weeks then we will drop the item.
- Action #4 - Token support for SHA-2 for OAEP or PSS - To be placed on Agenda for next week
- Action #5 Add definition for CKA_Transport_Info from CKM_ECDH_Key_Wrap proposal - Dieter B not in the Meeting
Deferred Items from 3.1
- Spec addition for CKA_??? from PR Comment review v2.40 - Oscar S not available
- GetMechanismInfo related to SHA2 OAEP (as per Action #4 above)
- NIST - waiting for NIST - expecting that an announcement is due on Post-Quantum.
