Members of the TC may want to study this and determine if they
and/or their organizations are in concurrence with OASIS' new
IPR policy.  This is probably something we will have to vote
on in a future meething before April 2007, but it is probably
a good idea to start the discussion early to give member firms
sufficient time to have their legal departments digest it and
provide an opinion wrt their concurrence.

Ram can provide additional details to those who are necessary.
if the question is of general interest to everyone, I would
appreciate discussing it on the TC list as opposed to a one-
on-one communication.  Thanks.
