Dear Arshad et al.

Happy to provide some more background on myself. If the election process
requires a vision or policy statement to outline my plans, then I can
prepare that too.

Cheers,

Stephen.

=====================================================================

Stephen Wilson is a leading international authority on Public Key
Infrastructure, and a widely respected writer and commentator on all issues
relating to digital identity. He has helped organisations throughout the
Asia Pacific establish effective PKI systems, providing the highest calibre
advice on strategy, architecture, policy, privacy, application enablement,
technology selection and governance; he has been intimately involved with
such pivotal PKI programs as the Australian Government Gatekeeper regime,
Identrus, the Health eSignature Authority, Webtrust for CAs, the American
Bar Association PKI Guidelines, and several commercial CAs in Australia,
the USA, the UK, Malaysia and Hong Kong. He has been awarded three PKI
related patents.

I have been an active member of the OASIS PKI TC since 2004. I was elected
unopposed to be the OASIS PKI TC Liaison Representative to the Asia PKI
Forum, a role I am happy to continue with, as the respective organisations
grow and evolve their strategic involvement with PKI. I have helped
develop the latest international PKI survey, the re-design of the PKI
resources webpages and the development of a new PKI ROI model and whitepaper.
