Business concepts from the Norwegian implementation project

Hi.

The Norwegian implementation project has now uploaded the following four business concepts to DEXLib:

 

• Product breakdown structure
• Parts and parts lists
• Part characterization
• Maintenance task identification

 

Internal project review is not completed for all four, which means that some updates are still going on.

 

One of the main objectives for the development of these business concepts was to establish re-usable implementation guidelines which meaqns the business concepts are context independent. The business concepts do not cover all possible data and we expect they have to be some extended to cover "all" needs.

 

The business concepts have been implemented. The implementation has partly been ahead of capability development in OASIS and some mapping solutions deviates from the solutions documented in DEXLib today. We are therefore well aware of some issues that will be raised against the business concepts, and some issues are identified and documented in the issue lists (see issue document for Business concept “parts and parts lists”).

 

The reference data classes are also uploaded (ref file \dexlib\data\refdata\plcs_owl\ plcs-rdl-pmh.owl).
