Subject: SV: Maintenance of ISO/TC 184/SC 4 Reference Data Standards
All, Within the OASIS PLCS TC
we’ve agreed to use leading capital letters when referring to the
components of the standard, e.g. Data Exchange Specification (DEX), Capability
and Reference Data, to avoid possible confusion. Would this approach be
useful also within SC4? Regards, Mats
Från: Kreiler,
Christopher G [mailto:Chris.Kreiler@ManTech.com] All, I have edited the Maintenance of ISO/TC 184/SC 4
Reference Data Standards document to reflect the comments submitted by Reinhard
Weissinger, ISO Central Secretariat. I am attaching a copy of Mr.
Weissinger’s comments for your convenience. Please note that his
comments apply to both the ISO/TS 10303-1000 and the reference data
maintenance. The changes from the Busan edition are shown by the
tracked changes. Please review and provide any comments to me not
later than 19 February 2009. As per resolution 766 shown below, I would
like to submit this document for an SC4 vote by the end of February. No
response will be considered as agreeing with the document contents and no
objection to going forward to ballot. RESOLUTION 766 ( Maintenance of reference data using “Standards as databases”
procedure SC 4 requests
its Secretariat to submit the operating procedures described in SC 4 N2407 for
a two-month committee internal ballot. Any negative votes must be
accompanied by comments. SC 4 requests
the ad hoc group to complete the detailed operational processes. Thanks Chris Kreiler |
