Subject: [plcs] New Work Item for DEX 10 System Requirements


There is no introduction or business need identified for DEX10.
 
In the new structure I assume that the Technical Oversight Group (TOG) will have to endorse this DEX (and the participants?) before it can move forward (The TOG need to define an approval process).

A new Data Exchange Set has been proposed:  DEX 10 System Requirements.

 

Proposal for DEX 10 - Requirements

 

Project Leader             - Phil Spiby (Eurostep)

Project Modeler          - Phil Spiby (Eurostep)

Business Reviewer      - Mats Lindeblad (Volvo Aero)

Model Reviewer         - Stefan Lindhal (Eurostep)

Domain Expert(s)        - ??

 

 

Scope:

The following are within the scope of this Data EXchange Set (DEX):

Ø      Representation of requirements

Ø      Identification of derived and dependent requirements

Ø      Reference to source documents for requirements

Ø      Representation of a system

Ø      Representation of a system breakdown into sub-systems

Ø      The allocation of requirements to systems

Ø      Identifying stakeholders for requirements

Ø      Assigning identifiers to the applicable entities

Ø      Classification of entity types in external RDL

 

The following are outside the scope of this Data EXchange Set:

Ø      Assignment of Parts to the systems

 

Any OASIS PLCS members who wish to participate please notify the Secretariat by return message.  Please indicate the company name, individual, and the area you would like to participate in, i.e., business reviewer, domain expert, etc.
