The OASIS OASIS Product Life Cycle Support (PLCS) TC has closed

The OASIS Product Life Cycle Support (PLCS) TC has closed.

The TC approved "Product Life Cycle Support DEXs Version R5" as an OASIS Committee Specification on 18 November 2010 (http://docs.oasis-open.org/plcs/dexlib/R5/dexlib/oasis_cover.htm).

The TC approved "Product Life Cycle Support Version 1.0" as an OASIS Committee Specification on 15 October 2013 (http://docs.oasis-open.org/plcs/plcslib/v1.0/cs01/plcslib-v1.0-cs01.html).

These specifications established structured data exchange and sharing capabilities for use by industry to support complex engineered assets throughout their total life cycle. The Data Exchange Specifications (DEXs) are based upon ISO 10303 (STEP) Application Protocol 239 (Product Life Cycle Support). While active, the TC maintained liaisons with ISO TC184/SC4, ASD (formerly AECMA), POSC/Caesar, and GEIA.

As is standard OASIS policy, the archives of the Technical Committee will remain publicly visible on TC's web site at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=plcs.

The TC email list will be closed but the archive will remain available at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/plcs/. The comments email will remain open and will be accessible at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/plcs-comment/.
