Comment from: Rudolf.Woehrl@siemens.com The experience of realizing provisioning scenarios with SPML (V1) led us to introduce additional error codes: - OBJECT_ALREADY_EXISTS (or Identifier...) - ATTRIBUTE_OR_VALUE_EXISTS - NO_SUCH_ATTRIBUTE - TEMP_ERR to express temporary errors such as connection loss. This would enable the requestor to re-send the request after some waiting time. In our opinition these codes are of general relevance (although admittedly they come from LDAP).
