[provision] Version 1 Transport bindings

At this weeks F2F I took an action item to offer a formal vote on the transport bindings we intend to support in the V1 specification.   So far we plan to support the following:

 

1.      SOAP over HTTP

2.      File

 

I am therefore proposing a motion for Mondays committee con-call (which we intend to keep short this week due to the close proximity to F2F#3) to formally agree this list and move on.  I offer this advance warning so that anyone that feels strongly either way can either be sure to attend Monday or email me directly.

 

As a foot note, I know that some may want to see a larger list but please be aware that in some cases adding a new bindings can effect core schema, the R/R protocol, security considerations, examples, conformance etc. etc.  I would therefore ask that if you feel strongly that we need to consider other transports for 1.0 you clearly consider the work load implications.
