Vote to minutes of committee meeting 02/24/2003 |
DR |
Minutes available at [1] – Approved |
Proposed Agenda
===============
3 - 10:10 Batch or single request
---------------------------------
Relating to Conrad's recent mail at [2].
Should the committee consider moving from
a batch to a single request model? Conrad (if on call) to present his views on this matter.
Discuss/resolve.
Action: Will keep on issues list.
Comment: JB – Do we have an issues list? - Volunteers to track Issues List
Will place item on issues list.
Will create resolution document.
4 - 10:12 Re-use in SPML thread
---------------------------------
Over the long discussion starting at [3], I
believe we have the
following motions to consider:
4.3 Exclusive use of xsd types to define/describe attributes
Comment: How would it look like?
Comment: Not enough comments coming from the group on the expressiveness of the schema for attributes.
Comment: JB to work with GW to come up with concrete proposal (message sequence, what schema would look like, …)
Comment: GW recommends that we come to conclusion by next week
Action: GW to post sample scenario
Comment: JB needs to have a scalable approach for it to be supportable
4.4 Issue based on 4.3 mean that we should get rid of the DSML filter mechanism too? (Part of 4.3)
5 - 10:22 WSDL & SPML
---------------------
Continue discussion on WSDL. Is this an issue
for the SOAP/HTTP binding
or does it have wider relevance to the core
protocol (as defined so
far)?
Comment: GW suggests WSDL would be inherent part of approach. May be appendix as approach of specification
Comment: Take a look at Jeff’s approach but let’s keep it separate and then put it on the cycle of resolution.
Action: JeffB to take over the SOAP Binding document and put it across to the list.
6 - 11:00 Motion to Adjourn
---------------------------
To reconvene 3/10/2003. – Accepted 8:36 a.m.
