Can you expand on your vision of a ‘filtered’ list of changes?  I would like to better understand your thoughts on what types of filters, how this would be approached, and how to determine the level of configurability if this was to be supported.

Another issue I would like to address in the post 1.0 effort is a standardized way of querying for changes. An SPML client should be able able to ask an SPML service for a filtered list of changes. This would improve the efficiency of a reconciliation process. Some LDAP servers support this concept via "change logs".

 

I will add this to the issues list.
