Another issue I would like to address in the post 1.0 effort is
a standardized way of querying for changes. An SPML client should be
able able to ask an SPML service for a filtered list of changes. This
would improve the efficiency of a reconciliation process. Some LDAP
servers support this concept via "change logs".
