A few comments/questions: 1) What about the XSD Profile? I think it would be valuable to exercise both of the profiles we publish. [JSB] I agree. BMC should be able to support both as both a client and server. I would suggest that all participants support at least the DSML v2 Profile so there is at least one common profile that everyone can use. 2) Do we like the terms "client" and "service" better than "requestor" and "provider"? If so, I can update the spec to use the preferred terms. [JSB] I would not change the spec. The "requestor" and "provider" are well understood and are consistent with the terminology used in the 1.0 spec. This interop doc is currently not a public document so I am not being careful about terminology. I can clean it up if it needs to be public. 3) Would each client try to run the same scenarios against each service? Is that what you meant by a "mesh" interop? [JSB] each client would try to run the same scenarios against all services, as appropriate. Obviously some participants may choose not to support all the use cases. 4) Would it be interesting to expose a single resource (e.g., an LDAP directory) that all of the services could manage? If we can all manage identities on the same resource without stepping on each other, that'd be impressive. [JSB] I agree. That would be great. Any volunteers?
