I would appreciate if you could take a minute out of your busy working schedule to send a note to your company's primary OASIS representative to vote for me as an OASIS Technical Advisory Board.  My profile is listed at http://www.oasis-open.org/private/elections/2006tab/sodhi.php. 

I intend to promote the growth of specifications that would provide value to end users but also support continued efforts to promoting active interoperable use of OASIS standards. I intend to serve OASIS and the industry to better understand the benefits of using open standards. In addition, what I have really enjoyed as a member of OASIS for several years has been the ability to lead a number of separate specification efforts and driven them into OASIS as primary points to drive the specs into standards. I continually promoted, via lectures and published articles, for the convergence for standards around e-commerce, web services, identity & access management, and secure policy management and will continue to push for the convergence of open standards and interoperability of specifications that will reap the benefits of continued customer and vendor acceptance, as shown in a number of events over the past few years.

If I am elected to OASIS' TAB, I intend to promote a number of areas to improve participation and adoption of specifications to become standards and also work hard to produce with the TAB and OASIS TC members, additional catalysts for moving standards to industry adoption.
