Mark recently held a training session on UNDERSTANDING AND MANAGING SaaS AND CLOUD COMPUTING RISKS where he discussed the challenges for widespread adoption of SPML. This Round Table will be an opportunity for Mark to present his thoughts on SPML to the TC and for TC members to respond to his feedback and brief him on their plans for the future. We'll set up a webinar interface, so people can present slides, diagrams, etc., but the format will be informal. Our goal is an interactive, productive dialogue; all TC members will have the opportunity to participate. The 30- or 60-minute Round Table might be the extent of it, or we might find there's interest in having OASIS commission a Gartner report (sponsored by a subset of willing TC members) that would summarize any conclusions or interesting points raised. Please recommend a time this month that is convenient for the TC, and we'll proceed with the logistics.
