Subject: Press release to announce OASIS OpenDocument Adoption Committee
--PLEASE NOTE QUOTE DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, 2 MARCH-- OASIS PR Group: The Consortium is preparing a press release to announce the formation of the OASIS OpenDocument Format (ODF) Adoption Committee. We have targeted Friday, 3 March 2006, for distribution. While OASIS deeply appreciates the contributions of all members to our technical work, only Foundational Sponsor and Sponsor members elect to receive promotional benefits, such as inclusion in announcements directed to the press. The OASIS ODF Committee press release, therefore, will include the following statement: "Members of the OASIS ODF Adoption Committee include representatives of IBM, Novell, Sun Microsystems, <INSERT SPONSORS WHO JOIN TC BEFORE 2 MARCH>, and others." If your organization's name is listed above, and you would prefer *not* to be mentioned in the press release, please let me know. If you represent a Foundational Sponsor or Sponsor member not listed above, and you intend to join this TC before Thursday, 2 March, please let me know. Foundational Sponsors and Sponsor-level members that would like to send a quote on behalf of their organizations in support of the OASIS ODF Adoption Committee may email that to me. Please include a name and title at your company to whom the quote can be attributed. A representative of your organization must join the Committee prior to the release date.
