Title: Minutes from 3/22/02 Call and Other Items

All,
Attached please find minutes from last week's call. Please let me know if you have any questions on them.
Regarding next call: I will confirm Monday, but as of now it looks like Fri., 4/5 2:00-3:30 EST is the "common best" for all.

Please also note: I have started creating a second document for us called "Discussion Topics". This document has grown out of the Functional Points document (as I was hoping it would) as a set of "themes" for our discussions. It will be a living document whose purpose is to provide a "snapshot" of where we are at in our discussion and understanding of the various topics, to help ensure that we have a common understanding of all the topics involved. As of now, there will be 8 topics (please let me know if we should add more):

1. Storage

2. Associations between entities (Core Components, BIE's, etc.)

3. Classification

4. Discovery - including partial matches

5. Registration of re-use

6. Assembly/context rules

7. Metadata - including cardinality

8. Security - i.e. who "owns" a BIE, who can have access to it, etc.

I will send the first version of this document to the listserv very shortly.  I think we are reaching a point in our discussions where we may need a second communication (be it an e-mail list of questions or other mechanism) with the eBTWG folks, to clarify our understandings. I would like to discuss this on our next call.
