Subject: Bypass Properties?
Team, I'm wondering if we can bypass the notion of Properties (as defined in CCTS) in registry, and associate Data Types directly with BCCs without having an intermediary entity (Property). So the attributes of "Property Term" and "Cardinality" that belong to Core Component Properties (see [S10], p. 76) would now belong to Basic Core Components (and Association Core Components as well I believe). In light of that, I've taken my previously sent "Properties/Data Types" notes document and have repeated and reworded the requirements that reference Properties, to no longer reference them (please see attached). Please let me know if this makes sense - also in light of Figure 7-1 on p.75 of CCTS. Like many of us in the US I'll be in transit tomorrow for July 4th, so I'll be off of e-mail (back Monday). I would like to wish everyone here in the US a very Happy Fourth of July. Thanks, Joe
