Subject: Re: [regrep-cc-review] CC Review Walkthrough - 8/21/03

If the team feels this will not be effective then I withdraw the
proposal.

As I tried to convey earlier, we are not yet at the stage where we have
completed our representation of Core Components in the registry, much
less are we ready to demo an implementation. I am *very* concerned that
we will convey that we are farther ahead than we actually are, when so
many other groups are watching our progress. My intention for 8/21 is to
walk the TC through the Core Components concepts, and discuss how we
plan to represent them in the registry (in general terms such as "we are
using a Slot", "we are using an Association). This will give us an
opportunity to get feedback from TC members on our approach. Anything
more than that at that point would be running too far ahead of
ourselves.

As Chair, I am deciding that we will not give such a demo to the TC on
8/21, but may do so at a later time. Our 8/21 session will be a
walkthrough as described above.

If anyone has any gripes with this decision, please express them on the
listserv or to me privately. :)

Thanks,
Joe
