Subject: Namespace in ebXML Registry Information Model schema
Dear Folks, I have some doubts on ebXML Registry Information Model schema. I am talking about the schema: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/regrep/documents/2.0/schema/rim.xsd . In this schema, there is one attribute under <complexType name="RegistryObjectType"> named "objectType". The attribute is defined as <attribute name="objectType" type="LongName" use="optional"/> Actually the namespace of LongName is "urn:oasis:names:tc:ebxml-regrep:rim:xsd:2.0" which has been declared with prefix "tns". The default namespace of this schema file is http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema. There is no "LongName" defined in the http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema namespace. I presume the correct one should be <attribute name="objectType" type="tns:LongName" use="optional"/> This is also applicable to ShortName and other simpleType defined in this schema file. Is this an error in RIM schema?
